What We Offer

Junior Camp 2014 465

What We Offer

We offer youth camps through much of the summer but Homeward Trail is here to serve in many other ways as well. We can accommodate about 100 people for overnight or day functions. The campground can be rented for a variety of events including family reunions, homeschool activities, Boy and Girl Scout camps, rodeo camps (we have a rodeo arena in Mason City), adult retreats, cookouts, and much more. We also have a paintball arena and enough equipment for 20 players at one time. Please call and ask us about hosting your next event.

Thanks to generous donors, a recent addition to the camp is the purchase of a rodeo arena.  The arena is located about a mile and a half from the camp on the north edge of Mason City.  There as been a Rodeo Camp for many years in which campers sleep and eat at Homeward Trail, and travel into town for events at the rodeo arena.  We look forward to hosting this annual camp and also expanding our own program to utilize the new property.  The arena is available to rent as well.  If you would be interested in organizing a rodeo event, we would love to work with you.

Paintball

Paintball is an exciting and intense sport. If you would like to rent our paintball course and equipment the cost would be $25 per person. Each participant needs to read and sign the paintball waiver at the bottom of this page. If the participant is under 18 years old, a legal guardian will also need to read and sign the waiver. The $25 fee includes all the equipment and air needed, plus 500 paintballs. You are welcome to bring your own marker but you must use our paint. Also remember to dress accordingly as your clothes will tend to get dirty.

For our own camp programs paintball will only be available for staff training, senior camp, boy’s camp, and girl’s camp. Each camper must read and sign the Paintball Waiver Form (parents must also read and sign if the camper is under 18). Waivers are available below or at the registration table when campers arrive. Paintball is optional and will cost each camper $15, in addition to their regular camp fee, if they wish to participate. It will be made available during free time.
